The Seeds of Changes offer a range of personal development, educational courses and equine facilitated learning. tallhatDesign was approached to design and develop their website. Working with their existing brand we created a fully content managed site using the ModX platform, provided training to allow internal staff to manage their updates, and worked with the photographer to create strong images to support their marketing.

2thebay.co.uk Holiday Apartment

If you want to ride the famous “Sea Tractor” this is the place to go… Bigbury-on-Sea! We designed and built this straight-forward site for a Devon Holiday Apartment. The aim was to keep the design very simple and uncluttered; to really place the focus on the photography. We also used JQuery to allow the images to be presented in a dynamic and easy-to-use way. (We’ve also visited the property, and can vouch for the amazing views and location.)

We designed the new branding, stationery and website for this Bath-based PR company. The website is based on the popular WordPress platform, which was already familiar to the business owner, and provides a great way to keep the site content up-to-date and ‘in house’. A bespoke WordPress theme was designed and developed. We also designed materials such as Twitter backgrounds, adverts, avatars and presentation templates.

Telly Traffic

We designed and produced this Flash-based website for a London TV admin services company. We also designed their brochure and stationery. Although the site is Flash-based it still functions on mobile devices such as the iPhone (and new iPad) by reverting to standard HTML format. This is also an important consideration for search engine marketing and accessibility.

The Globe Pub

The Globe Inn at Frampton Cotterell near Bristol wanted a website that would be easy for them to update. We designed and built the site using WordPress as the CMS. We also took the photographs and built the Frome Valley Walkway Google map to help promote the pub.

Wherever the Need

“Wherever the Need” are a Bath-based charity who provide water facilities and long-term sanitation to specific parts of Africa and India. As part of their PR and awareness activity we helped plan and build 2 campaign websites this year; Doorway to Dignity and Dinners for Dignity, which encourage people to get involved in fundraising and spreading the message and awareness of the organisation.

The campaign websites provide information, downloads and donation mechanisms.

Further phases of these websites are planned over the coming 6-12 months.

TBKS

We rebranded and redesigned the front-end for the e-commerce store for Bath-based TBKS, who supply architectural ironmongery. We also designed and provided the Flash animation components for the site and consulted on some of the site layout.

Bibico

We designed the front-end for this e-commerce website for fairtrade clothing company ‘Bibico’. We also advised on the e-commerce solution and project managed the back-end development (provided by iamkeir.com).

We chose ‘Shopify’ as the e-commerce solution due to it’s low initial setup costs and very good client admin interface. This has proved it’s worth, allowing the client to directly update their product database and manage orders.

We firmly believe that any website content management, whether for e-commerce management or simple blog updates, needs to have a robust and intuitive administrative interface.

Chalet Le Sabot

tallhatDesign provided the branding and website for this French ski chalet business (UK based business). The website is simple, clean and we also helped the business owner set things up at their end to allow them to manage the site content directly and easily. We also provided artwork for stationery, large format banners, glass signage and clothing. The website also integrates Google’s automatic translation services to provide the site content in various languages.
